Resolution Performance Products, a worldwide manufacturer and
developer of epoxy resins and versatics products, has started
up a new facility for the production of Cardura E10P glycidyl
ester. The plant, which has a capacity of 20,000 metric tons
per year, was built at Resolution’s integrated site in Pernis,
The Netherlands.
Cardura E10P is a hydrophobic intermediate which can be
used in conjunction with acrylic and polyester resins in
applications such as automotive and industrial coatings and
pigment pastes. It brings high chemical resistance, good flow
properties and enhanced appearance, according to the company.
The company reports that the new plant uses continuous,
proprietary technology to produce a high-purity and
low-color product.

with the broadest range of high performance coatings and
reactive intermediate products globally,” said Eduard
